I haven't visited this year yet but I can't wait. Currently, there's an exhibit about the bridge and my Dad's best friend's hand drawing of it is featured. The museum does a great job of preserving the history of City Island. It was so wonderful and personal (thank you Barbara!). She brought copies of his old school photos. The school room also displays class photos through the years and I found my dad in a photo framed on the wall! How cool! One of the museum's curators knew my dad personally and came to his funeral. It was so cool to go to the museum and sit in school desks imagining those times. 17 with friends that lasted his entire lifetime.
